In this piece I see a woman in a bathing suit, two head shots and a bird. There is the structure. The problem is as always no one else can see it. So I don't know where to take the structure. Do I bring out the figures more?? I was in a different energy with each phase of this. I can see why the second image is most appealing, because the shapes are simpler. For me I brought out the figures more in the second image. Still, everyone sees it as random shapes. The paradox I have with developing form is that that I don't see it as an abstract expressionist piece with the way I see it even though it is painted that way. I don't know how to paint it for how someone else sees. Maybe this is my delema. The first and last one are my favorites. The squiggles have been central to much of my work up to this date. People see them as not as confident and such, where as the larger marks in the first one are seen as confident full body motions. When it comes to the structure I don't know weather to make the figure more apparent, but them that takes it furtherer away from what people want to see in it, the action painting. There is structure in seeing a human head. I just can't comprehend what it looks like without seeing that there It baffles me. I have been arguing from here to kingdom cum about it and it has gotten me no where. So there is no use arguing about it. Lobsterpot, I don't know what you see.

the whole premise of abstract expressionism was to get away from any kind of representational image. Maybe your "form" was what replaced the image for them. For me the image is there that is expressed threw an automatic process. So then the argument, what is this, An action painting, An Automatic painting, An abstract expressionist painting, or two guys looking at a pretty girl in a bathing suit with a big bird. I have also seen a figure being hit in the stomach with a big triangle, kind of like our "day after the explosion" piece. There are more than one image.

Because of this I become confused. It is like being asked to paint what I cant see, and no one else can see what I can see. What makes it successful then. It is on the hands of the Voyer. We have the subjects, all wanting different things. Some want quality of paint and texture. Some want form and structure. I look for energy in a lot of ways. Some want a dance. Some want primal, others refinement. It is a dance in what it becomes. Each time I go into it, it becomes a new Painting. I paint in one shot. One sitting, or standing. If I go into it agian latter it is a whole different moment.

Thank you all so much for your impute on this. I am going to get some more large canveses, and hopefully afford to buy some more paint. If I want a different painting I can go back into it. Do I put on another layer for sake of another layer. Some people do this. For me each stage is a finished piece. After each session it is finished. Do I want to do another painting on the same canvas, I don't know. I do know a lot of people are not fans of my squiggles.

To hold my space
as energy hits
expanding, expanding
into the unknown

Must focus my mind
one thing, one direction
what am I creating
what is thy Fathers Will

Solid on the rock
Building my foundation
I stay on Gods side
The Trinity my pillar

Staying within what I can handle
I trust in God
I repent
I stand with the Saints

Picture
I look into the fire
I see light, flame
how brightly I burn
intuition igniting

what part of me can hide now
illuminated, waiting for the unfolding
The holy spirit in my heart
The iron rod I am holding

the ages pass forth
wisdom peaks it head
seeing more clear
or just differently

In the fire, the waters boil
turn to steam
purifying heat
Humble I look for the stream

First baptized by water, then by fire
then tested in my evolution
on Gods side of the line
I learn to march, meditate, pray

Spiders come out of the rocks
Snake slithers in front of me
Magpie flies into my car
What are God's creatures saying to me

There can be peace in an intensity of experience
a center held, manifesting into a physical world
heavenly fathers will
Father, what have you put into my cup that I may drink
